Word of Troy: Odyssey ("the game") is a free browser game. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run and improve the game. This page explains exactly what that means.
The game has no registration, no login, and no payment system. We do not ask for, collect, or store your name, e-mail address, or any other personal information inside the game.
Your progress (coins, energy, rank, collected weapons, settings) is saved in your own browser using local storage. This data never leaves your device through the game itself. Clearing your browser data deletes the save.
The game uses GameAnalytics, a standard game-analytics service, to collect anonymous, aggregated gameplay statistics — for example which wave players reach, session length, device type, and country-level region. This is pseudonymous technical data used only to balance and improve the game. It is not used for advertising, and it is never combined with your identity, because the game does not know who you are.
Some versions of the game include an optional feedback form hosted by a third-party form service. Anything you submit there is provided entirely voluntarily. You may leave every field blank except the message itself, and contact details are optional and used only to reply to your feedback.
The game itself sets no advertising cookies and contains no third-party advertising. The website or game portal that hosts the game may have its own privacy policy, which applies in addition to this one.
The game is intended for players aged 13 and over.
